The Wallwood Foreign Exchange investment programme is managed by Mario Kelly. First applied in 2001, the swing trading strategy has continually evolved over the past 15 years. The method, based on identifying potential mean reversions and breakout patterns, allows the manager to capitalise on high probability trade setups that offer a positively skewed risk to reward ratio.

Whilst the primary focus of the strategy is on the trading of major FX pairs, Mario will also execute trades in equity indices within the Foreign Exchange programme. This is a newly developed aspect of the strategy which Mario has been refining in recent years.

No single position will exceed 10% of the value of the portfolio and trailing stop losses* are applied to each trade but are set to allow for interim volatility in the position during its move toward its respective profit target.

For more information or if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch using the details available on our Contact Us page.

*There are limitations associated with stop loss orders which could result in a gap in the market meaning the stop loss order is executed with slippage, resulting in an execution at more extreme price than where the order was intended.
